Whenever I find myself stuck and in a rut, the book I turn to 100% of the time is Tom Venuto's: Burn The Fat, Feed the Muscle! It is the best book I've read that gives you an amazingly thorough yet simple overview of burning fat AND building muscle!
Everytime I open it, it feels like I learn something new that I missed before. What sets this book apart from all the others I've ever read is the emphasis on diet! Diet, in my opinion, is 90% of how you build muscle and this book goes over it completey! Tom Venuto also takes the extra initiative to make sure that no stone is unturned and gives you a complete understanding of exercise dynamics with detailed instructions!
